The Nationwide season begins today at Daytona but Colin Braun won’t be in the field. Braun no longer is listed as a team member of Roush Fenway Racing. He was released by the team Dec. 1 as part of an effort to boost sponsorships for its other drivers. Braun made 24 starts 16 in the #16 Ford Con-way Freight car out of 35 Nationwide races in 2010 for Roush Fenway, finishing 23rd in the points standings with five top-10 finishes. He also did not finish seven races. In a message e-mailed to the Reporter-News, Braun said only that his plans for the 2011 racing season had not been settled. (Abilene Reporter News)(2-19-2011)
