After a highly positive response at Daytona, Faith Motorsports will continue its support of The Salvation Army this weekend at Phoenix. The Salvation Army’s “Red Shield” and “Doing The Most Good” motto will be on the hood of Brett Rowe’s #55 Chevy during Saturday’s Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. Morgan Shepherd will drive the Racing With Jesus #89 Chevy this weekend at Phoenix, a reversal from last week’s season-opener at Daytona where Shepherd’s car bore logos of The Salvation Army. The team is donating the advertising space to the popular charity in an effort to increase public awareness about the needs and programs of The Salvation Army. (Faith Motorsport)(2-22-2011)
