The race marked the first time that Texas Motor Speedway had held its early-season NASCAR Nationwide Series race on a Friday night. With previous editions scheduled on Saturday afternoons, direct comparisons are not possible. Last year’s early-season TMS event was rained out and held on a Monday. The NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule included a Friday night event at Phoenix International Raceway in the comparable weekend for the past four years, and the Phoenix race earned a 1.0 rating in each of the four years.(ESPN)(4-11-2011)
