According to a Twitter post by Speed Energy, “Johnny Sauter will be driving the #7 Speed Energy Dodge this weekend at Kansas, while Robby Gordon runs the Baja 500.(6-2-2011)
UPDATE: Sauter, who is currently second in Truck Series points, will make his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start since the 2010 Coca-Cola 600 when he qualifies the No. 7 Dodge in the 43-car field. Though the team is outside of the top 35 in owner points, the No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing car will not attempt to qualify for Sunday’s STP 400, giving Sauter and Robby Gordon Motorsports a guaranteed starting spot in the field.(Frontstretch.com)(6-3-2011)
