Teams in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will run a slightly different Goodyear tire set-up than those in the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series ran at Texas earlier this season . . . Camping World Truck teams will run the same left-side tire code (D-4392) as teams in the other two series, but will run a brand new rightside code (D-4418) . . . in addition to Cup and Nationwide teams running this left-side code at Texas in April, Truck teams have run this left-side at Darlington and Nashville earlier this season and at Texas (twice), Chicagoland and Homestead last season . . . this new right-side code features a tougher compound for better wear . . . this tire set-up came out of a Goodyear tire test at Texas on May 24 . . . drivers participating in that test were Ron Hornaday Jr., Timothy Peters and Johnny Sauter . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Texas . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.(Goodyear PR) [Complete tire specs are posted on the Texas Race page.](6-10-2011)
