Ryan Truex has been out of a racecar since [Pastrana Waltrip Racingcut back], but finally has a break. Joe Gibbs Racing recently announced Truex would pilot its #20 Toyota for a six-race stretch this fall, starting at the September 4th race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Though he is with a winning team, Truex says that this deal is no guarantee on what 2012 can bring. “I don’t know what’s going to happen next year. I’m just looking at these six races and focusing on them. I feel like this is my second chance this year to prove that I can go out and do this. I feel like this is my best shot to be out there and be in the best equipment out there to showcase my talent. Hopefully we can have some really strong runs and impress some people and get some funding for next year. Obviously, I would like to go full-time next year. That is my goal and these six races are my shot to do it.”(WSB Radio)(8-16-2011)
