This past weekend, Max Papis Racing gave Italian fans and racing enthusiasts a little taste of NASCAR at the historic track of Monza in Italy during the Monza Rally Show. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 2-seater car, provided by Joe Gibbs Racing and driven by Italian, Max Papis, quite simply, “stole the show.” The Monza Rally Show included 9 special stages, in which racing celebrities such as Sebastien Loeb, Valentino Rossi, Dindo Capello, amongst others, competed in the historic event which attracts tens of thousands of fans. Max Papis was the “opening act” during each special stage, showing off his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car and thrilling the crowd with the almost 800-horsepower Toyota Camry.(Max Papis Racing)(12-2-2011)
