Nationwide driver Danny Efland earned his engineering degree on Monday from the University of South Carolina. Now Ryan Newman is not the only engineer/driver in NASCAR. “It has been a real challenge,” said Danny, “I have raced an average of 10 times a year and still attended school full time. At times I have had to fly home between races such as happened between California and Las Vegas last year, to attend 3 days of class while the team stayed out west.
