Sprint Cup driver #34-David Ragan stopped by the Shriners Children’s Hospital in Greenville, SC on Monday to speak with some of the patients and their families. Ragan has been a supporter of the hospital for several years. He named the hospital as his charity of choice in 2008. He has helped raise $150,000 for the facility through his personal donations and help from other charity campaigns. ‘There’s so many things going through their heads as a young guy or girl, having a surgery or being at the hospital,’ Ragan said. ‘So, sometimes it’s good to get their mind off of reality.’(FOX Carolina)(3-20-2012)
