Hamlin wins at Kansas:

#11-Denny Hamlin won the STP 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway for his 2nd win of the year, 1st at Kansas and his 19th career win. It is the first win for Toyota at Kansas. The win for car #11, is the 199th win, one ahead of the #43 car, which has 198 wins [Richard Petty won races in cars other than the #43].
#56-Truex Jr., who led the most laps, finished 2nd followed by #48-Johnson, #17-Kenseth, #16-Biffle, #29-Harvick, #88-Earnhardt Jr., #5-Kahne, #99-Edwards and #18-Busch
Pole sitter, #22-Allmendinger, had engine problems anf finished 32nd, after leading 44 laps.
There were only 3 cautions for 18 yellow flag laps, a new record [was 5 and 23 laps]. The race speed average was 144.122mph, breaking the race record set by Greg Biffle in Oct 2010 of 138.077mph. There were 14 lead changes among 9 drivers.
The estimated attendence was 75,000, down from 80,000 in 2011.
