Wish For Our Heroes on the #70 at Charlotte: Johanna Long and the ML Motorsports team will be running a red, white & blue paint scheme on the #70 Chevrolet at Charlotte Motor Speedway to bring recognition to Wish For Our Heroes. Wish For Our Heroes was first launched in November 2009 and is dedicated to assisting the men and women of the United States active-duty military. The organization began with a goal of providing one wish for every deserving military member. The ML Motorsports team will grant a wish by having several troops accompany them to the race on Saturday. The paint scheme is part of NASCAR Unites An American Salute that begins with this weekend’s Memorial Day celebration. The #70 Chevy will also carry the patriotic paint scheme at Daytona in July.(ML Motorsports), see an image of the car on the #70 team paint schemes page.(5-22-2012)
