UPDATE: With his wife, DeLana, due to give birth to their first child in July, driver Kevin Harvick has made contingency plans to put someone else in his car if the need arises. David Mayhew practiced Harvick’s #29 at Sonoma but he has his own car [#98 Ford] in Sunday’s race. Harvick said the team will deal with the situation if he has to suddenly fly back to North Carolina. He doesn ‘t plan to have a back-up driver at other events. ‘It’s just a long way from home right now so we had to make an alternative plan,’ Harvick said.(Charlotte Observer)(6-24-2012)
