Two more weeks of voting between this pair of NASCAR stars will decide the victor of the Drive for the Cover campaign – and the ultimate prize of gracing the NASCAR The Game: Inside Line cover. The first four rounds saw several upsets and unexpected matchups, and last week’s semifinals were no different. Kasey Kahne pulled ahead of Jeff Gordon early and never looked back. Kahne’s reward for the upset will be a head-to-head matchup with nine-time Most Popular Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., whose journey to the finals has been far from smooth. Earnhardt Jr. defeated Danica Patrick in Round 3 to face reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart in the semifinals. In a matchup that was closer than many expected, Earnhardt Jr. escaped the semifinals with a tight victory over Stewart.
