Race fans can have a voice in the design of the commemorative ticket for the 55th annual Daytona 500, NASCAR’s prestigious season-opening race scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 24. Through Daytona International Speedway’s Facebook, Twitter and Google + sites ‘ race fans will be able to select their favorite commemorative ticket among three different choices. Voting began on Thursday, July 12 and will run through Thursday, July 19 at 5 pm/et. Two of the commemorative tickets feature the Harley J. Earl trophy awarded annually to the Daytona 500 champion while the third commemorative ticket showcases Matt Kenseth celebrating his second triumph in the ‘Great American Race’ earlier this year.
