Ever wonder where Kurt Busch gets his strange looks? Maybe it’s because he’s a zombie. OK, not for real, but he would make a pretty creepy looking zombie, as the American Red Cross and AMC recently found out. Busch is one of nine celebrities participating in a partnership between the American Red Cross and AMC’s hit zombie apocalypse show ‘The Walking Dead’ to urge people to donate blood. Busch joins such celebrities as Whitney Port, Elisabeth Rohm, Jimmy Smits and The Black Keys in the ‘Use Your Brains. Give Blood’ campaign. Busch and the others were ‘zombie-fied’ by the show’s makeup team and is shown in his Nationwide Series uniform and a hat bearing the logos of sponsor Monster Energy Drink.(Sporting News), see the image of Busch, on the AMC site.(9-27-2012)
