Peters looking for win at HMS:

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series 2012 season will come to a close this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway with the Ford EcoBoost 200. For Timothy Peters and the #17 Red Horse Racing Toyota team, Friday night’s main event will be their last shot to overcome an 11 point deficit and take over the championship lead. Momentum will be on their side with a fourth place finish last weekend. Peters has his strategy laid out as well, and knows his team will stop at nothing to get their Tundra into victory lane and do all they can to capture the championship trophy in the process. “We’re focusing on nothing but a win. We know that we have to be aggressive to get out there and have a shot at this championship, so there’s nothing we can do but focus on winning. Before Phoenix, mathematically we were in, but we needed a legitimate shot heading into this weekend. My crew chief, Butch Hylton, made a great call during the race at Phoenix to get us a good finish and now we have a shot going into Homestead and that’s all we can ask for. We’ve got a shot,” Peters explained. Peters has five starts at Homestead-Miami Speedway resulting in 1 top-five and 2 top-ten’s.(Red Horse Racing PR)(11-12-2012)
