Edwards worked with two crew chiefs in 2012, Bob Osborne, who forced to step aside with health issues, and Chad Norris, who finished up the season as the #99 crew chief. In 2013, Edwards has been paired him with veteran crew chief Jimmy Fennig, who worked as the #17 crew chief the last two seasons. Fennig won the 2004 championship with Kurt Busch. Fastenal once again will be the primary sponsor in half the races with Aflac, Kelloggs, Best buy (4 races) and UPS (1 race) picking up some races as the primary sponsor.
