Homestead-Miami Speedway will be featured in the February 26 episode of Top Gear on the History Channel . Following last Novembers Ford Championship Weekend, the speedway hosted BBC America for filming of its hit show and the episode will air at 9:00pm/et on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, featuring 2011 Ford 400 race winner Carl Edwards. The episode will review the newest supercar to come out of the United Kingdom-the McLaren MP4-12C, and see how it stacks up against a good old American NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car. Edwards was behind the wheel of his #99 Roush Fenway Racing Ford Fusion. The guys also head to Las Vegas on a quest to create the ultimate taxi, aiming to keep both driver and passengers happy. After getting some experience riding along with real cabbies, they reveal their creations, put them through a series of tests and then hit the Las Vegas strip to see who can get the most tips.( HMS )
