CSX returns to the #34 at Indy:

CSX and Sprint Cup Series driver David Ragan will take to the Brickyard to remind fans to ‘Play It Safe” around railroad tracks. The transportation company will be the primary sponsor of Ragans #34 Ford for this weekends NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Indianapolis (Ind.) Motor Speedway, one of the premier events and venues in auto racing. CSXs initial one-race primary sponsorship (Richmond in April) expanded to include the All-Star race and the Indianapolis event after Ragan won Front Row Motorsports first race in team history at Talladega in May. ‘Were proud to partner with the team that has been most associated with driver safety’ says Terry Ludban, CSX Director of Community Affairs. ‘David is a great spokesperson, and we hope his passion for this issue will translate into helping us make the roads and our rails safer. If we save just one life, its worth it.” The weekends partnership will give fans the opportunity to see their name on Ragans race car. CSX and the #34 team will collect signatures of fans who promise to ‘Play It Safe” around railroad tracks on Saturday at the speedway. Fans can stop by the #34 hauler in the Sprint Cup garage beginning at 10:30 a.m. to sign the hood of Ragans car. The signed hood will be on the No. 34 CSX ‘Play It Safe” Ford for Sundays Samuel Deeds 400 at the Brickyard.( FRM ), see image of the scheme on the #34 Team Schemes page .
