Kennedy set for debut:

Ben Kennedy will attempt to make his first career start in one of NASCARs top-three national series this Wednesday, August 21 at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS). Kennedy, a 21-year-old Daytona Beach, Fla. native and University of Florida senior, will attempt to qualify for his firstNASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in the UNOH 200 at BMS. Kennedys No. 96 truck entry is not locked-in on owners points and he will have to qualify his way into the race on time. While Kennedy is attempting to make his first career start in the NCWTS at BMS, hes no stranger to the 0.533-mile concrete oval. Hes made two starts at the track in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (2012, 2013). Kennedy completed all laps and finished in the top 10 in both of the races.(Hi-Rev Racing PR)
