Ernie Irvan announced he is returning to the race track as a car owner in 2014 for son Jared. The Irvan duo will have primary sponsorship from Auramist , a leader in producing dry misting fans and cooling solutions. Jared Irvan will compete full-time in the Pro All Star Series South (PASS) at historical track such as Hickory Motor Speedway, South Boston Speedway and Orange County Speedway. Jared will also participate in the Summer Shootout Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Ernie earned 15-career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victories, including the 1991 Daytona 500. After sustaining multiple head injuries throughout the course of his career, Ernie was forced to retire in 1999.(OneMain Racing)
