This is his second pole and eighth top-10 start in 2013. This is his first pole in two races at Phoenix International Raceway. Erik Jones (second) posted his third top-10 start of 2013 and his first in one races at Phoenix International Raceway. Brendan Gaughan (third) posted his second top-10 start at Phoenix International Raceway. It is his 14th in 21 races this season. German Quiroga (11th) was the fastest qualifying rookie.
