The 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Sunoco Rookie of the Year, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., seeks to improve his performance on the track and off as the Nationwide Insurance member debuts his first national television commercial for a sponsor. The spot airs for the first time on Saturday, Feb. 22 during the NASCAR Nationwide Series Drive4COPD 300 race at Daytona International Speedway. ‘Spotter’ brings to life how NASCAR spotters are looking out for their driver’s best interests, just as Nationwide does for its members. The commercial also airs during ‘The Great American Race’ on Sunday, Feb. 23 on Fox and throughout the 2014 NASCAR season. Stenhouse also will be featured in a co-branded consumer promotion for Nationwide Insurance and ESPN. NASCAR fans are able to register to win a 2014 Ford Mustang beginning Thursday, Feb. 20 at espn.com/nationwide.
