Fuhu, Inc., creator of nabi – the world’s first Android tablet built just for kids – is getting revved up for an exciting and meaningful new sponsorship with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Landon Cassill, fresh off of his ninth-place finish in Thursday night’s second Daytona 500 qualifying race. In addition to acting as the primary sponsor in 18 Sprint Cup races, Cassill will debut the nabi branding on his #40 Hillman Racing Chevrolet at the NASCAR season-opening race, the Daytona 500, on Sunday, February 23, where he rolls off in the 18th position. Philanthropy is a large and important part of this sponsorship. For every Fuhu-sponsored primary race – beginning with the event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in two weeks – Cassill will donate five % of his race team’s prize money to benefit nabi Inspire, Fuhu’s philanthropic arm with the mission to offer direct support for families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and help raise awareness. Fuhu will then match that donation with an additional 5% for a 10 % total that could reach in excess of $175,000 during the initial 18-race program. During that time, Hillman Racing also will be leveraging its assets to bring additional partners to join the cause-related marketing program in an attempt to increase awareness of nabi Inspire. Fuhu’s signature product and sponsor headliner is the nabi brand.(Hillman Racing Facebook), see images of the scheme on the #40 Team schemes page.(2-23-2014)
