Eighteen year old driver Camden Murphy of Itasca, Illinois will make his inaugural start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday, October 25th for SS Green Light Racing in the #08 Ronald McDonald House Chevy Silverado. Murphy gained national attention after winning the Midwest Truck Series event at the famed Milwaukee Mile during ARCA Fest back in June taking the lead at the nation’s oldest speedway with a bold three-wide pass with eleven laps to go. Murphy’s racing resume includes an impressive array of experience behind the wheel that drivers twice his age would envy competing at several NASCAR-level tracks including the Milwaukee Mile, the Nashville Superspeedway, Rockingham Speedway and Lucas Oil Speedway in Indianapolis. A three-time Mini-Cup champion, Murphy finished 2014 with top five finishes in both the Midwest Truck Series and Madison International Speedway Truck Series final point standings.
