Kyle Busch Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing jointly announced today that Erik Jones will compete full time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2015 for KBM and run a part-time schedule for JGR in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. Running a part-time schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series the last two seasons, Jones has registered three wins, one pole, six top-five and 12 top-10 finishes resulting in an average finish of 8.7 across 16 starts. The Michigan native picked up his first career Truck Series victory at Phoenix International Raceway last November, when at the age of 17 years, five months and nine days old, at the time became the youngest winner of a NASCAR National Series event. This season, he added wins at Iowa Speedway in Newton and Las Vegas Motor Speedway and collected his first career pole in July at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Jones made his Nationwide Series debut for JGR at Chicagoland Speedway in July, qualifying fourth, leading one lap and ending the day with a seventh-place finish. He followed his successful debut up with an eighth-place finish in the August race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
