A post on the Ole Energy Drink Facebook page, says “Olé Energy is going NASCAR and joining Team Kapusta Racing. We are off to the races March 13th, 14th 2015. Add it to your calendar and come see us at Phoenix International Raceway. More details and info coming!” A website for the team says “Team Kapusta Racing is a newly-formed NASCAR Nationwide team that has already made waves in the NASCAR community with its forward-thinking philosophy to the NASCAR Nationwide Series. The team is owned by Milwaukee businessman, Tom Kapusta. Tom and his family have been in the automotive industry for a combined 54 years. A past racer himself, Tom has rubbed fenders with some of Wisconsin’s most notable racers including Matt Kenseth, Scott Wimmer and Travis Kvapil as they carved their early careers in the Wisconsin late model series. Team Kapusta Racing operates out of a state-of-the-art racing facility in Mooresville, North Carolina. A full-service fabrication, race setup and repair area incorporates the shop space, while day-to-day operations of TKR take place in front office space overlooking the busiest motorsports-related industrial park in the country, Lakeside Park.” No other details available yet. UPDATE 3: Team Kapusta Racing LLC announced its partnership with Olé Energy Drink for its debut entry into the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Phoenix International Raceway. Team Kapusta Racing, based in Mooresville, North Carolina, will field the #56 Chevy Camaro with driver Charles Lewandoski in the Axalta Faster. Tougher. Brighter. 200 on Saturday, March 14. Sudden Impact Partners (SIP) will debut in the NASCAR XFINITY Series race in correlation with their recent Olé Energy Drink product debut on amazon.com. Olé is a powerful, refreshing and smart energy drink that delivers a bold, unforgettable taste and sustained energy for any adventurous active lifestyle.
