Dexter Bean looking to run additional races:

It took a few laps for Dexter Bean to knock the rust off. The 28-year-old racer from Westby, Wis., hadn’t driven a heavy, full-sized stock car in six years and 2 1/2 weeks ago Bean had no inkling he would again. Bean’s deal to try to qualify for Saturday’s Annual Alert Today Florida 300 came through family connections. His wife and Mario Gosselin’s are sisters, and Gosselin was putting together King Autosport’s two-car effort for Daytona. Gosselin was supposed to drive the second car alongside Martin Roy, but Roy was injured in a skiing accident, opening up a seat. Future races probably are dependent on money. Bean is aiming for one of the Xfinity races at Iowa. “Definitely hadn’t given up, but the sponsorship thing was terribly hard – everybody will tell you that – and it still is,” Bean said.(Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel)(2-21-2015)
