MBM #13 to announced Mark Thompson of Cartersville Ga. Will be piloting the #13 Dodge at Talladega Superspeedway on May 2nd. Thompson is a highly accomplished pilot and operates Phoenix Air, a company that holds US Defense Department contracts to provide tactical electronic warefare training services to Air Force, Air National Guard, & US Navy. Phoenix Air also offers executive jet service as well as having “the” medical jet WHO (World Health Organization) contracts to transport Ebola and other patients all over the world for treatment. Thompson has been racing for years and is a current competitor in ARCA. He started on the pole in Daytona this February and will be driving the same Kenny Schrader Team car at Talladega this May in a Double duty weekend. Phoenix Air will take primary sponsor locations.
