Wauters Motorsports announced today that Vinnie Miller will join Wauters Motorsports driver development program. Miller, a Brandon High School senior, will drive for Wauters in select Southern Super Late Model Series in 2015. Miller, a Metamora, MI native began racing at age five competing in the quarter midgets at tracks in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. He then moved to the pure stocks and sportsman series before moving to the pro late model series at age 16. The young driver in 2013 received the “On the Edge of Your Seat” award voted by the Owosso Speedway staff and by the fans, an award that had never been given before. In 2014 Miller was the pro late model rookie of the year and second in points out of 32 drivers at Owosso Speedway. Wauters Motorsports will focus on bringing Miller up through the Super Late Model racing series, ARCA Racing Series and then into the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.(Wauters Motorsports)(5-15-2015)
