NASCAR veteran John Monsam has been named the new crew chief for Obaika Racing and the #97 car. Monsam, a native of Connecticut has worked in K&N, ARCA, Truck and Xfinity during his racing career and has won 8 races with 5 different drivers in the Truck Series. He was the 1994 runner up crew chief in points for the Sprint Cup. John Monsam: “I am looking forward to the opportunity to develop a young up-start team into a top tier organization.
