Teams in all three NASCAR series in action at Dover this week will run the same combination of left- and right-side tires . . . this right-side tire code (D-4440) has been run at Dover since 2012 . . . this is the first time these teams have run this left-side tire code (D-4392) at Dover . . . compared to what was run at Dover last year, this left-side has compound, construction and mold shape changes for more grip and to bring it into line with what is run at other speedways . . . this particular left-side code has been run at Texas on the Sprint Cup and Xfinity cars earlier this season; and at Chicagoland, Darlington (Sprint Cup and Xfinity), Homestead and Texas last season . . . Goodyear confirmed this tire set-up in a test at Dover on May 11-12 . . . drivers participating in that test were A.J. Allmendinger, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano and Danica Patrick . . . Dover is unique among NASCAR ovals one mile or less in length, in that inner liners are required on all four tire positions . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.(Goodyear), see tire codes, tire pressures, set limits and more on the Dover Race Info page.(5-27-2015)
