Aric Almirola will run the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend for Biagi DenBeste Racing and their new partner, Sledgehammer, a brand of Treasury Wine Estates. He will compete in his first XFINITY race at Indianapolis when he pilots the #98 Ford at the famed 2.5-mile track. Almirola has seven starts this season with Biagi DenBeste Racing. He scored his best finish of seventh at Daytona in February. Despite not having any XFINITY starts at the track, he made three Sprint Cup Series starts since his track debut in 2012. Still knocking on the door of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Almirola will utilize extra track time to benefit the #43 Eckrich Ford team on Sunday for the Brickyard 400.
