Kenseth, Hattori building toward 2016:

Ross Kenseth will attempt to make his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start on Friday at Homestead-Miami Speedway in the #18 Green Brave/Saitama Toyopet Toyota Tundra for Hattori Racing Enterprises (HRE). Kenseth made his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut with HRE at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on October 31, where he finished 17th in what was the team’s first NASCAR national touring series race of 2015. Friday’s race will mark Kenseth’s fourth NASCAR start of the season. The son of 2003 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Matt Kenseth made his NASCAR debut in the June XFINITY Series race at Chicagoland Speedway when Kenseth, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, qualified second and finished sixth. “We are trying to build something for 2016 and performing well this weekend will only help that,” said Shigeaki Hattori, owner of HRE and the #18 truck.(Fuel SMG)(11-18-2015)
