Fifty- three names of brave individuals who are currently fighting or have fought a battle with cancer will be featured on the #17 Fifth Third Ford for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Kentucky. A longtime supporter of Stand Up To Cancer(SU2C), Fifth Third Bank, in partnership with Ricky Stenhouse Jr., reached out to NASCAR fans asking them to #StandUpwithRicky and honor a friend or family member who has fought or is in the fight against cancer by sharing their story. For every story shared with the hashtag #StandUpwithRicky, Fifth Third Bank made a donation to Stand Up To Cancer up to $20,000. In addition to the money donated during the #StandUpwithRicky campaign, Fifth Third will be donating $530 for every lap Stenhouse makes at the Quaker State 400 race. Fifth Third will also continue its #howifight campaign through December 31. From running a 10K to bringing dinner to a neighbor fighting cancer, Fifth Third is encouraging everyone to share how they fight using #howifight.
