BK Racing announced that Inova Health System’s Life With Cancer program will be promoted on David Ragan’s #23 Life With Cancer Toyota Camry at Dover International Speedway on October 2. Life With Cancer provides those living with cancer and their loved ones with education, information and support – all free of charge no matter where they live or receive treatment. Services include counseling and education; children and teen programs; information and resources; mind-body and wellness programs; and referrals. Life with Cancer is funded primarily by community contributions. ‘We are very excited to partner with BK Racing at the Citizen Soldier 400,’ said Sage Bolte, Ph.D., Executive Director of Inova Life with Cancer. ‘The face of cancer is changing. The rate of cancer diagnoses among young adults is growing, people are living longer, and cancer is evolving from a terminal disease to a chronic disease. Now, more than ever, it is critical to have resources to cope with the impacts of cancer close to home.
