Clements stretched fuel to make a late race pit stop, then battled Matt Tiff over the final few laps, coming from more than 7 seconds back with just 6 laps remaining. Clements got inside of Tifft with two laps remaining, got loose, and both drivers spun around. They were far enough ahead of the rest of the field to refire the cars and get back on track without losing the lead. Clements then pulled away for a margin of victory of nearly 6 seconds.
There were 4 cautions for 8 laps and 9 lead changes among 8 leaders.
The average speed was 82.250mph.
