Daniel Suarez had his left thumb put in a splint following the NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas. He said in a video posted on Twitter he hurt the thumb in an accident on the second lap of the race. He continued to compete after the accident and finished 29th. He will visit a doctor Tuesday.(4-9-2018)
UPDATE: Daniel Suarez has been cleared to race at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend after injuring his thumb in an accident at Texas Motor Speedway.
