Scott Stenzel, a business owner and entrepreneur by day, will make his NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series debut under the lights this Friday at Texas Motor Speedway driving the #34 Personal Comfort Chevy Silverado. Stenzel, owner of ecommerce mattress retailer Personal Comfort, will be racing alongside Team Owner Josh Reaume at the SpeedyCash.com 400 at 9:00 PM EST, Friday, June 7, 2019 on MRN (Motor Racing Network) and FS1 (Fox Sports 1).
Reaume, owner of the #33 and #34 NASCAR Trucks, also serves as the crew chief for Josh Bilicki in the #93 RSS Racing Camaro in the Xfinity Series. Josh Reaume will drive the #33 Truck in the race.
“I want to give a huge thanks to Josh Reaume for the opportunity to race one of his trucks,” said Stenzel. “The Personal Comfort brand is not new to the hood in this series and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to show off one of the world’s most innovative mattresses in partnership with one of the truck series’ most innovative racing teams.”
Personal Comfort is a luxury mattress-selling powerhouse that is no stranger to a competitive commercial race, having lapped the largest number bed brand in the nation with its value and quality. In a classic David and Goliath matchup, Orlando-based Personal Comfort continues to put up wins against the industry’s largest brand. “We do what we do because every individual customer and their personal night’s sleep matters. Others are in business solely for their public shareholders,” Stenzel said.
“Athletes are discovering how the science of sleep can improve their performance, and race car drivers are no different. In fact, we’re thrilled to outfit Josh with a top-of-the-line luxury sleep experience for he and his wife, who is expecting a baby this summer. Our Personal Comfort® FlexHead™ bed is the perfect fit for both Josh and his wife to fully personalize their own sleep experience.”
“My wife will only sleep on a Personal Comfort bed after having experienced the healing power of her own personal number and the benefit of an adjustable base during pregnancy,” Stenzel said. “The ease of breastfeeding both our daughters (Nova and Chevelle) with a split-head king bed is something no mother should live without.”
