Smithley, a NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) regular, who currently sits 18th in points on NASCAR’s junior circuit, will also compete in Saturday’s B&L Transport 170 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, before making the trip north to Brooklyn, Michigan.
MENCS Veteran Reed Sorenson will practice and qualify the No. 77 Victory Lane Quick Oil Change Chevy while Smithley attends to his duties for Johnny Davis Motorsports at Mid-Ohio.

The Consumers Energy 400 from Michigan International Speedway will be televised live on NBCSN Sunday, August 11 beginning at 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The 23rd of 36 races on the 2019 MENCS schedule will be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
