David Ragan open to TV or radio work after retirement

After the checkered flag falls on the race winner and championship winner in the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November, so will the full-time Cup Series driving career of David Ragan.

After his full-time driving days are over after this year, Ragan said he is open to the idea of being a driver analyst for radio or a television network in 2020.

If he were to take on a driver analyst role, it wouldn’t be the first time Ragan has done so.

“There’s probably a good chance,” Ragan said to The Racing Experts about the possibility of being a driver analyst.

“I don’t want to be at the racetrack every single weekend, but if I could pick and choose a few weeks here and there, I love racing, I love NASCAR, it’d be fun to race a little and talk about it.”
