UPDATE 2:

JTG Daugherty Racing says they plan to have two cars at the track this afternoon.  The #47 team will be working out of a Hendrick Motorsports test hauler and plans to run the #37 backup car on Sunday at Kansas.

UPDATE: Over a dozen firemen responded to the fire and worked at the scene for nearly three hours. A race car and crew uniforms were burned.

Original post: JTG Racing team owner Tad Geschickter released a statement Thursday morning, explaining that the hauler carrying the equipment for the #47 Ryan Preece team experienced a fire while traveling to Kansas Speedway.
