Alsco, the global leader in linen and uniform rental services, has signed on as title sponsor of Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s Sept. 26, 2020, NASCAR Xfinity Series race.
The event will be called the Alsco 300 and will be the second race of the speedway’s second NASCAR tripleheader of the year. It will serve as the second playoff race for the Xfinity Series, whose history at LVMS dates back to 1997.
The 200-lap race will be televised live on NBC Sports Network, with the green flag dropping at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time and the checkered flag coming under the lights at the 1.5-mile speedway.
“Alsco has a long history of sponsoring NASCAR racing, and we are thrilled to add such a prestigious company to our title sponsor lineup for next year,” LVMS President Chris Powell said. “All three of our September races will be part of their respective series playoffs, and we are anticipating a top-notch weekend of exciting racing, great weather and big crowds at LVMS. We are happy to have Alsco as a partner in such an important weekend of action at one of the nation’s most versatile motorsports facilities, and we can’t wait for a great 2020.”
Alsco has sponsored races at Kentucky Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway and has partnerships with Richard Petty Motorsports, Richard Childress Racing and JR Motorsports. The company dates back to 1889 and also offers comprehensive services and partnerships to businesses everywhere in every industry, from industrial and automotive, to restaurants and healthcare.
“Alsco knows that NASCAR provides unprecedented exposure to a loyal base of fans willing to support our brand. Adding a fourth entitlement of the Xfinity race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway was a no-brainer, as it aligns perfectly with our company values and customer footprint in the West,” said Ben Fox, director of sales and marketing for Utah-based Alsco. “We’re excited about the exposure this race brings in one of the most iconic cities in the world.”
The 2020 Alsco 300 will be the 27th NASCAR Xfinity Series race held at LVMS. Series champion Tyler Reddick won last year’s event en route to capturing the Xfinity title.
The Alsco 300 will be preceded by the World of Westgate 200 NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series Playoffs race on Friday, Sept. 25, and followed by the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs race on Sunday, Sept. 27. Tickets for all LVMS races are available at www.lvms.com or by calling 1-800-644-4444.
