Jeff Burton enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence with Roush Racing. As that dizzying success began to wane in the early 2000s, however, it opened the door for a move to Richard Childress Racing and from Chevrolet to Ford. The move was a difficult one, but one that paid off in his 2006 return to victory lane at Dover.
