NASCAR working on logistics of running races without fans; various schedules

Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern reports that NASCAR is talking to track operators about running NASCAR races without fans when the sport returns to action.

Other sports are discussing similar options, with Major League Baseball considering playing all games in Arizona, possibly starting in May.

NASCAR would need to find a way to limit close contact between crew members and be able to frequently test people at the track.

NASCAR could look to streamline events by limiting practice times, qualifying sessions, and separating teams further.
