UPDATE: The NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, will remotely select its Class of 2021 on Tuesday, June 9, summoning its voting panel via teleconference and voting via email.
Because of travel restrictions mandated by the coronavirus threat, the HOF leadership chose the teleconference/email method. It’s expected that the new inductees will be announced as usual later in the afternoon, but it’s unclear at this time whether there will be a public event recognizing the new inductees.
