South Carolina Homebuiler Great Southern Homes to join MBM Motorsports for Darlington

Motorsports Business Management (MBM Motorsports) is excited to welcome Great Southern Homes to the team’s NASCAR Xfinity Series #13 Toyota with driver Chad Finchum.  Great Southern Homes has won Builder of the Year for the last 3 years by South Carolina’s State Newspaper.

On March 12th, the racing world, like most of the world, was rocked by the order of teams to go back home after they had arrived for the racing weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Atlanta, Ga.  Since that time, the only racing has been virtually through the creation of the eNASCAR iRACING series.  This weekend the live action comes back at the legendary Darlington Motor Speedway in Darlington, SC.  The NASCAR Cup Series will be in action this Sunday in The Real Hero’s 400 and then the Xfinity Series will restart the season at Darlington on Tuesday, May 18th.

MBM Motorsports driver, Chad Finchum, 25, from Knoxville, Tennessee will be driving the Great Southern Homes #13 in the Xfinity event.  “Darlington is such a unique and historical track”, said Finchum.  “I am very excited to have Great Southern Homes come on board with us as we are all excited to get back to racing.  We had a great run at Darlington last year and looking to build on that for this year.”

This past year, the privately-held Great Southern Homes with headquarters in Irmo, SC set record – setting performance with over 1,300 new home sales and topping over $300 million in sales for the first time in the company’s history. The company now builds in over 100 communities throughout South Carolina and Augusta Georgia and its footprint extends to most new housing markets across the state. Great Southern Homes also ranked #44 in the 2020 Builders magazine for the top 100 builders in the country.

Great Southern Homes EVP/CEO Mike said about the partnership, “Great Southern Homes is very excited to see racing starting back up and very proud to be back on board with Chad Finchum and MBM Motorsports!  We hope that our support can help contribute great things to the team in Darlington this year!  Good luck and let’s go racing!”
