Alex Bowman signs contract extension with Hendrick Motorsports

One day before NASCAR resumes its 2020 season, Alex Bowman broke the news on Twitter that he will be back with 12-time Cup Series champions Hendrick Motorsports in 2021.

In the midst of his third year driving full-time for car owner Rick Hendrick, Bowman currently sits a career-high fourth in the Cup standings. The Tucson, Arizona native is coming off a 2019 season of personal bests that saw him record his first Cup win at Chicagoland Speedway and secure his second consecutive playoff berth with No. 88 crew chief Greg Ives.
