This coming weekend is a big one for Halmar Racing, but it’s an even bigger weekend in our race to beat hunger. Starting Friday night at Albany-Saratoga Speedway, Stewart Friesen will compete in 3 races in 24 hours (Albany Saratoga, Pocono Raceway, & Orange County Fair Speedway) in an attempt to raise money and awareness for those who need help feeding their families during these trying times.
Halmar’s Chris Larsen has announced that Halmar International will match the amount of Friesen’s dirt racing winnings Friday at Albany Saratoga and Saturday at Orange County Fair Speedway. This amount will be donated to local food banks. These donations are in addition to the separate potential donations for the #52 truck at Pocono on Saturday afternoon: $5,000 for a top 10 finish or $10,000 for a win.
We cannot do it alone. We are still accepting donations (matched by Halmar) from fans at www.halmarracingtobeathunger.com. Any donation of $100 or more gets a special limited edition t-shirt!
