A poll conducted by Navigator Research finds 62% of Americans support NASCAR’s ban of the Confederate flag on it’s properties.
Among NASCAR fans, the ban does not appear to have impacted the desire to watch or attend races.

NASCAR's Confederate flag ban is supported by 53% of its fan base over 40 years old, 76% of fans under 40 support the ban, according to a study by Performance Research/Full Circle Research.

Fewer than 20% of older fan base said diversification efforts may discourage viewing/attendance; more than one-third of Black respondents overall and two-thirds of younger fans are more likely to watch, according to the study.
